What is LeadSwift?
LeadSwift is a web app that finds local businesses and helps you contact them. You type a business type and a place, like "Plumbers in Dallas", and it pulls every business it can find from Google Maps, Yelp, Facebook, YellowPages and other sources. Each lead can include emails, staff names, phone, website, ratings, social links and website issues.
It also has a built-in cold email tool with unlimited senders, follow-ups and a shared inbox. It is mostly used by marketing, web design and AI agencies that sell to small local businesses. LeadSwift says it has more than 40,000 users and works in every country.

Compared with another Google Maps scraper like LocalProspects, the big gap for cold outreach is who you reach. LeadSwift finds staff names and emails on some leads, but users say many lists come back with only info@ style inboxes, no names, or names that are out of date. LocalProspects gives the owner's name when it can be found, every email on the business website labeled personal or role-based, and whether each phone is mobile or landline. LeadSwift is stronger if you want to send cold email from the same tool, check websites for SEO issues, see Yelp and Facebook scores, or find businesses outside the US.
LeadSwift pricing
| Plan | Price | Searches a day | Leads |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0 | 7 days | No card needed |
| Starter | $24.99/mo ($19.99 yearly) | 1 a day | Unlimited per search |
| Professional | $49.99/mo ($39.99 yearly) | 5 a day | Unlimited per search |
| Agency | $99.99/mo ($79.99 yearly) | 20 a day | Unlimited per search |
A search is one business type in one place, like "Restaurants in Toronto". Every plan has every feature, unlimited leads, exports and email sending, so the daily search count is the only difference. Unused searches do not carry over to the next day. Yearly plans can be paused for up to 3 months, and you can cancel from the dashboard. LeadSwift calls these early adopter prices and shows a 50% off code on yearly plans. Its refund page would not load when we checked. Prices from leadswift.com/pricing on October 27, 2026.

“It doesn't find business owners names unfortunately.”
“I used it to find architects and the targeting was spot on. Most leads are accurate and up to date, which saves a ton of time.”
“Very effective when it comes to local lead gen, if your target market is in google maps, this is the best cheapest way to get very solid leads.”
“Most of the leads are decent, meaning NOT a ridiculous amount of disconnected or inaccurate numbers.”
“I am building a National Cleaning directory and it has been giving me better results than the other popular data sources I have used.”
“When you compile the xsls or cvs files, they only take the generic emails for e.g. info@ or enquiries@ email addresses, so you do still need to do a thorough check to find the contacts that you want to target”
“it's expensive, charged monthly and it's about 50 bucks per month with only 5 search, that is way not enough for a company”

Is LeadSwift worth it?
Yes, if you sell to local businesses and want lists and cold email in one cheap tool. The flat price with unlimited leads per search, the website and HTML filters, and the built-in sender are where LeadSwift holds up best.
Probably not, if you need the owner's name and a working personal email on most leads. Users report generic inboxes, missing or wrong names and stale leads, and you will want a separate email checker before sending. The near 5-star scores come mostly from invited reviews, so use the 7-day trial on your own niche before you pay.
LeadSwift alternatives
The tools most often recommended instead of LeadSwift are LocalProspects (owner names and every email on each business website), Scrap.io (a similar Google Maps workflow with filters), Outscraper and Apify (pay as you go scraping), D7 Lead Finder (simple keyword and city lists), Apollo.io (B2B contacts rather than local businesses) and Snov.io (email finding plus outreach).
